In this role, you will oversee the Hourglass business in the Australia region, with responsibility for delivering the sales and P&L plan.. You will lead the Regional Sales & Marketing, Retail Sales, and Operations teams—driving performance, protecting brand equity, and executing a comprehensive, 360-degree business strategy.

This position offers the opportunity to shape future strategic expansion initiatives and build P&Ls for the brand in the region. You will work closely with retail partners to cultivate strong relationships and scale them into large businesses.

The ideal candidate will drive growth across both brick-and-mortars and online channels, collaborating with Trade Marketing and retail partners to deliver impactful activations and launches. Maintaining a strong brand presence in the market and supporting the brand’s continued dynamic growth will be essential.

You must have a proven track record in sales, with experience consistently achieving targets, and a strong passion for the beauty industry. You will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.

WHAT YOU DO:

  • Lead the Hourglass business in the Australian market
  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, ensuring consistency in execution, operational efficiency, and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure best-in-class customer and sales service, overseeing training initiatives at the POS and managing performance of area managers and office-based personnel.
  • Maintain consistency in brand standards across all sales touchpoints, including product assortment, visual merchandising, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure appropriate staffing, implement performance management frameworks, and drive team development initiatives.
  • Work in close partnership with Brand & Trade Marketing to align sales strategies with brand campaigns, maximizing commercial impact and brand visibility.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners, driving mutual growth and strategic alignment.
  • Champion brand integrity by ensuring all commercial activity supports the company’s image, values, and positioning in the market.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends, identifying risks and opportunities to inform strategic decisions and support growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans on a quarterly and annual basis, focused on expanding market share and accelerating performance.
  • Support the development of annual sales plans and P&L forecasts, partnering with senior leadership to optimize current distribution and identify new channel opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years of experience in the luxury beauty industry, with deep category expertise and market insight
  • 10+ years of leadership and team management experience, driving high performance across diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Possesses a comprehensive omni-channel perspective, spanning distributor, e-commerce, franchise, retail, and wholesale models
  • Demonstrates ability to build, manage, and optimize full P&L ownership, delivering sustained commercial growth
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and scaling brands, supported by a strong, well-established industry network
  • Must be a strategic, entrepreneurial leader with exceptional communication skills; highly organized, self-driven, and adept at inspiring teams toward excellence
