Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Sales to lead and elevate the sales strategy for two properties in the Hunter Valley, Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat.

As Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue across multiple segments including MICE, Corporate, Leisure, Health & Wellbeing, Golf, and F&B. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of two diverse and thriving properties. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans in collaboration with the Cluster GM
  • Oversee total account management across market segments
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and conference team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Represent both properties at trade shows and industry events
  • Provide insights and reports based on sales data and market trend
  • Partner with the Commercial Sales team to maximise exposure and business opportunities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Director of Sales or similar senior role within hospitality
  • Expertise in managing complex sales segments across multiple properties
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
  • Knowledge of revenue and distribution strategies
  • Passion for customer experience and team development
