We are seeking a Director of Institutional Partnerships & Capital Markets to lead Sentient’s institutional adoption and capital markets initiatives. This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and traditional finance. The mandate spans fundraising from major institutions and funds, developing capital markets products, and building the infrastructure for Sentient to engage with global financial institutions, including future opportunities such as ETFs, listed products, and large-scale partnerships.The ideal candidate brings a TradFi pedigree and crypto-native conviction, with a proven track record of bridging institutional capital, regulated markets, and frontier technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Institutional Capital Formation: Lead fundraising efforts with institutional allocators, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, hedge funds, and VCs.

  • Capital Markets Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for products like tokenized RWAs, structured products, ETFs, and potential exchange listings

  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and close relationships with asset managers, investment banks, market makers, and grayscale-type product sponsors.

  • Liquidity & Trading Infrastructure: Engage with liquidity providers, exchanges, and market makers to ensure deep, compliant, and efficient markets for Sentient.

  • Regulatory & Policy Engagement: Build trusted relationships with regulators, policy groups, and industry bodies to shape Sentient’s credibility in institutional markets.

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with product, engineering, and ecosystem teams to ensure institutional needs are integrated into design and delivery.

  • Thought Leadership: Represent Sentient in global capital markets and institutional AI + blockchain forums, shaping the narrative of decentralized AGI adoption.

Requirements
  1. 7+ years in capital markets or investment banking with senior leadership exposure (e.g., Goldman Sachs, bulge-bracket IB, top-tier asset manager, or hedge fund).

  2. Proven track record in raising institutional capital and structuring innovative financial products.

  3. Network across financial institutions, allocators, market makers, and regulatory circles.

  4. Understanding of trading systems, market structure, and regulatory frameworks.

  5. Crypto-native mindset and demonstrated experience bridging TradFi with blockchain.

  6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
