Department OverviewTo pack and dispatch finished goods to meet quality objectives and sales order commitments.
Job Description
Main tasks Core objectives include:
Packing and processing
Verify Shipment details and generate commercial invoices for customer/accounts
Logistics and delivery
Communication on job status
Inventory Management
Regulatory compliance
Labeling and marking
- Pick, Prepare and pack order ready for shipping, including packing boxes and materials, to ensure safe and effective shipment of all products.
- Liaise with Order Management, Despatch/Export Manager and accounts for clearance of orders prior to shipping.
- Confirm the shipment dates, quantities and values and meet the KPI
- Generate Packing lists, DG Declarations, Security Declarations, Commercial Invoices and Despatch Checklists which are clear and concise for shipping
- Update job folders with all the relevant documents for that job including despatch photos
- Coordinate with logistics teams for outbound shipments
- Liaise with freight companies to ensure all orders are packed on time With the help of the database, scan and generate the appropriate picture labels to adhere to the correct boxes.
- Monitor and control all inventory stock in the Despatch area and liaise with the Purchasing Officer to replenish stock of packing material including boxes, tape, shrink wrap and stationery.
- Use of forklift to load/unload trucks and move stock around the warehouse and hosuekeeping
- Warehouse quarantine area must be locked and maintained for our accredited pre custom clearance section.

Experience
- Previous experience in a dispatch and/or export role
- Strong computer skills

- Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
