We have an opportunity for you to join Samsung Electronics Australia as our E-Commerce / Online Sales Specialist in the Online Business (OB) division.
This role is both strategic and operational, where you will take ownership of Samsung's direct-to-consumer channel sales and be a key enabler to drive the execution of Samsung's online strategy.

Role and Responsibilities

Online Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Drive the development and execution of Samsung Online Business strategy to achieve desired sales growth for respective products.

  • Generate demand and provide sales forecast for respective products.

  • Plan, execute, and manage the product range, pricing, and promotional activities across all online sales portals and partnership microsites.

  • Brief and align with the wider team to ensure promotional activities are followed and executed according to plan.

  • Monitor and analyse sales performance and provide actionable reports on sales conversions and promotional effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the wider team to mine data for insights.

  • Identify any issues on the system, work towards a sound resolution, and escalate any technical issues to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Coordinate, cross-functionally and cross-divisionally, the ideation and execution of sell-out enhancement programs.

  • Provide expert advice on web content management, information architecture and search engine optimisation for the organisation’s website.

  • Drive web merchandising, web content, and web design in collaboration with the wider team to ensure the website delivers exceptional customer experience and sales conversions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in an e-commerce sales role

  • Proven history of successfully launching new products/services into the Australian market

  • Proven track-record of consistently achieving sales targets

  • Prefer working in a highly entrepreneurial environment where being hands-on is critical to learning and the day-to-day running of the business

  • Solid strategy development and analytical skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to provide direction to senior management

  • Demonstrated creative background with experience in developing original ideas for digital audiences

  • Understanding of all web based-tools and experience using content management systems.
