RocketAMS is hiring across several closely related roles supporting consumer brands on Amazon.

This application page is used for candidates applying from SEEK and from our LinkedIn role ads. If you have come from LinkedIn, please apply here and reference the specific role you saw there.

The roles we are hiring for sit across:

  • Client and account management
  • Business development and new business
  • Performance and paid media
  • Operations, delivery, and creative coordination

The common thread is the same. We need people who understand how agencies run, how to manage clients, how to keep work moving, and how to take ownership across a portfolio of consumer brands.

You do not need deep Amazon experience. We will teach you that. What matters is that you are commercially sharp, organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable working between clients, creatives, operators, and specialists.

The role

You will help own the day-to-day of client accounts across Amazon. Depending on your background and the role fit, that leans in one of a few directions.

If you come from an account or agency delivery background, the focus is client ownership: leading relationships and follow-ups, setting direction and priorities, briefing designers, copywriters, and specialists, reviewing work before it goes to clients, and keeping projects moving. Some of these roles also carry a business development element, helping find and qualify new brands and convert them alongside our leadership team.

If you come from a performance or paid media background, the focus is growth: owning campaign strategy and budgets, optimising for return rather than activity, and turning performance data into clear next moves fast.

You are not expected to be the designer, advertiser, Amazon specialist, or operations expert on day one. But you do need to be close enough to the work to guide, review, question, unblock, and keep momentum.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Own client relationships or account performance end-to-end, depending on the role.
  • Translate client goals into clear direction for our in-house team.
  • Brief and guide designers, copywriters, advertising specialists, and operators, or own paid media and the numbers behind it.
  • Review work before it goes to clients. Quality and clarity sit with you.
  • Keep projects moving using ClickUp, Google Sheets, and Slack.
  • Turn performance data into clear next actions, not just reports.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple client accounts.
  • Spot risks early and escalate or solve them calmly.
  • Contribute to improving how RocketAMS operates as we scale.

This role is a great fit if you

  • Have worked in an agency, creative, marketing, e-commerce, content, media, performance, or professional services environment.
  • Have managed clients directly, or owned campaign performance, and enjoy being accountable for outcomes.
  • Are organised, calm, and good at keeping momentum.
  • Are comfortable working across multiple projects at once.
  • Can brief work clearly and review it before it goes to a client, or read data and act on it fast.
  • Enjoy being the bridge between client, creative, operations, and specialist teams.
  • Want real ownership rather than a narrow specialist lane.
  • Are ready to grow into broader leadership as the agency scales.

This role is not

  • Not a pure strategy or consulting role.
  • Not a senior advisor position with no delivery ownership.
  • Not a narrow execution-only role.
  • Not a role where you can sit far away from the detail.

You will be close to the work, the team, and the client.

The honest part

The pace is fast, we are growing quickly, and our clients expect strong outcomes. These roles suit people who stay calm, prioritise well, communicate clearly, and like being relied on. You will have real ownership, but that also means being comfortable with accountability. If you enjoy responsibility, momentum, and being close to the work, you will thrive here.

Why join RocketAMS

  • Real ownership: you run your client portfolio or performance end-to-end.
  • Clear progression: these roles grow into senior leadership as the agency scales.
  • High-trust environment: autonomy with accountability.
  • Fast-moving agency: no layers, no fluff.
  • Remote-first across Australia, with optional coworking in Melbourne and Sydney.
  • Modern tools: ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace.

Requirements

Required

  • 2+ years in account management, client service, agency operations, project delivery, performance marketing, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing client relationships directly, or owning campaign performance against targets.
  • Experience coordinating work across internal teams.
  • Comfortable using Google Sheets, project management platforms, and Slack.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing momentum.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a creative, brand, design, content, media, or marketing agency.
  • Experience briefing designers, copywriters, or specialists.
  • Experience running or optimising paid media or performance campaigns.
  • Some exposure to sales, business development, or new business.
  • Experience with e-commerce, retail, or DTC brands.
  • Exposure to Amazon, marketplaces, or retail media.

We care more about how you operate than which exact channel you came from.

What you need to know about the Sydney Tech Scene

From opera to comedy shows, the Sydney Opera House hosts more than 1,600 performances a year, yet its entertainment sector isn't the only one taking center stage. The city's tech sector has earned a reputation as one of the fastest-growing in the region. More specifically, its IT sector stands out as the country's third-largest, growing at twice the rate of overall employment in the past decade as businesses continue to digitize their operations to stay competitive.
