About the Cloudflare Blog
The Cloudflare Blog is not a marketing tool. It's a widely-read technical publication, trusted by millions of developers, engineers, researchers, and curious minds. For over a decade, we've published deep dives into emerging technologies, detailed incident analyses, and product breakdowns that become reference points across the industry.
We hold ourselves to a high bar. Every post must educate, inspire, or meaningfully contribute to the broader technical community. We require that even product launches explain how the underlying technology works.
The blog is a company-wide effort-authored by interns and C-suite execs alike. Engineers, researchers, and product leads all contribute, often partnering with the blog team to share the story of their work in a thoughtful and accessible way.
About the Role
We're looking for an Editor in Chief to lead the Cloudflare Blog. You will set the vision, define the voice, and maintain the editorial integrity of one of the most respected technical blogs in the industry.
This role is part coach, part curator, and part critic. You'll partner closely with technical leaders and authors across Cloudflare to identify great stories, shape them into compelling posts, and ensure that each piece we publish is insightful, accurate, and impactful.
You'll personally review and approve every blog post before it goes live-ensuring each story upholds our high editorial standards and contributes meaningfully to our mission to help build a better Internet.
You'll also represent Cloudflare externally at events and on panels, helping tell our story and promote our approach to technical communication.
What You'll Do
If you're passionate about technology and storytelling, thrive on helping others find their voice, and want to shape the conversation around how the Internet evolves-we'd love to hear from you.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
