About the opportunity

Join the Faculty Administration and Services Team (FAST) and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of education services across the Faculty of Science. Working within a dynamic and agile team, you will provide administrative, operational and project support across a range of education-related functions, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of academic programs and an exceptional student experience. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with academic and professional staff across the University while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • provide administrative and operational support across curriculum, timetabling, assessment, examinations and results processing functions

  • coordinate projects and initiatives, monitoring progress and supporting delivery of key outcomes and priorities

  • develop and maintain effective relationships with academic, professional and external stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and service delivery

  • contribute to reporting, data analysis and compliance activities to support operational planning and decision-making

  • identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of streamlined administrative practices

About you

  • a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience

  • experience in student administration, student support programs or education support services within a tertiary environment

  • demonstrated knowledge of issues impacting the student experience and the delivery of student support services

  • excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes

  • experience using systems and digital platforms including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms or similar applications

  • demonstrated experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures and administrative processes within a complex organisation

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
