Requirements

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with the Education Team and key contacts from the school, including School Leadership and the IT Department.
  • Provide support to staff and students in utilizing technology.
  • Respond to and resolve support requests using established processes and procedures.
  • Empower individuals by helping them develop basic troubleshooting skills for common platforms.
  • Create and develop training resources in various formats for staff, students, and parents.
  • Lead training sessions to introduce new technologies and enhance existing skill levels.
  • Establish strong relationships with staff from different areas of the school.
  • Take shared responsibility for administering the Learning Management System and other core applications used for teaching and learning.
  • Follow a Project Plan, manage competing priorities, and deliver projects within set deadlines.

Here's what you'll bring:

  • An authentic passion for teaching and supporting others.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical scenarios in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using technology and creating training resources, such as user guides and video tutorials.
  • Previous experience in a role involving teaching, education, technical support, and/or customer service that includes the use of technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through and complete tasks with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Prior experience with the Compass Learning Management System would be advantageous. This role is based in an education setting, and is a 12 month contract full-time hybrid position, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
