About The Role: 
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Workplace Support Manager to lead the on-site delivery of our health and well-being programs for client organisations. This role involves managing the implementation, ongoing support, and continuous improvement of embedded workplace clinical services. You will be accountable for the performance of a team of clinicians working directly with employees at various client sites, ensuring that our services align with client needs and objectives. As part of this, you will act as the primary point of contact between TELUS Health, the client, and our clinical teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring that all projects meet timelines, quality standards, and contractual requirements. 

In this role, you will have the operational and functional accountability to manage a team of employees and independent contractors, providing both leadership and operational oversight to ensure the Embedded Workplace Support function runs smoothly and effectively in delivering the budget outcomes. You will also work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and improve service delivery to meet the evolving needs of our clients. 

The Day-to-Day: 

  • Functional Accountability: 
    Manage functional budgets, monitor costs, and ensure fiscal responsibility across all aspects of the program. Work with internal teams to optimize resource allocation and ensure cost-effective service delivery whilst driving revenue opportunities. 

  • Program & Project Management: 
    Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of embeddedon-site clinical programs, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and contractual obligations. Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to develop tailored programs that meet specific needs, enhancing overall employee well-being. 

  • Team Leadership & Development: 
    Manage, support, and develop a team of embedded clinicians, providing ongoing performance management, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Ensure clinicians have the resources and support they need to succeed in their roles, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 

  • Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management: 
    Build and nurture strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for program updates, issue resolution, and feedback. Ensure clear and consistent communication between all parties to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. 

  • Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance: 
    Ensure clinical appropriateness and quality of service, manage escalations and complaints, and drive improvements in clinical service delivery. 

  • Reporting & Compliance: 
    Provide regular reports on program performance, including progress against KPIs, employee engagement metrics, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and SLAs, and work with internal teams to address any issues or concerns. 

  • Strategic Contribution: 
    Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute departmental strategies, improve processes, and identify new opportunities for growth and service innovation. Contribute to the continuous development of TELUS Health’s workplace well-being initiatives. 

About You: 
You are a results-oriented, proactive leader with a proven track record in managing a clinical delivery function. With at least 5 years of post-clinical experience in a leadership role, you bring strong project management and team leadership skills to the table. Your ability to navigate complex client needs, regulatory environments, and operational challenges makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a passion for driving business outcomes through effective operational management and leadership. 

Key Skills and Experience: 

  • Functional and Operational Management: 
    Expertise in functional and operational management, budget oversight, and financial accountability, with a focus on optimizing resource allocation and maintaining cost control. 

  • Clinical Leadership: 
    At least 5 years of experience in a clinical managerial role, with a strong background in team leadership and service delivery in a workplace or project-based environment. 

  • Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management: 
    Experience building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong customer-service orientation, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver tailored solutions. 

  • Clinical Oversight: 
    Deep understanding of clinical service delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks (e.g., AHPRA, HIPAA, etc.). 

  • Communication & Reporting: 
    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare and present clear, actionable reports to clients and senior management. Strong skills in managing performance data and KPIs. 

  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: 
    High-level problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking abilities, with a solutions-oriented approach to overcoming challenges and driving program success. 

  • Registered Psychologist (AHPRA registration), Social Worker (AASW), or other relevant clinical qualifications.
