Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Engagement Manager to lead client relationships and ensure the successful delivery of our Talent-as-a-Service (TaaS) engagements. This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you’ll act as the on-site lead for NCS, driving governance, delivery quality, and commercial outcomes.

You’ll be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for senior client stakeholders, building strong relationships through regular engagement, clear communication, and structured governance. You’ll run the delivery rhythm, including weekly check-ins, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery outcomes.

You’ll oversee engagement governance and performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and contractual obligations while identifying risks early and driving mitigation actions. Transparency is key, and you’ll provide clear reporting across delivery progress, resourcing, and performance metrics.

You’ll manage the commercial health of engagements, including forecasting revenue and costs, tracking burn rates against POs, ensuring timesheet and billing accuracy, and protecting delivery margins. Change control, financial risk management, and PO coverage will form a core part of your remit.

Working closely with the Resource Fulfilment Lead and Practice Leads, you’ll ensure the right capability is in place, oversee consultant onboarding, and act as the face of NCS on-site—driving strong engagement, utilisation, and retention.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT delivery or engagement management (project/engagement leadership)

  • Strong experience managing client-facing delivery in complex environments

  • Proven financial management capability (forecasting, margin, burn, invoicing)

  • Experience leading teams and managing performance

  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen

  • Structured, detail-oriented, and outcomes-focused

  • Confident operating in governance-heavy, SLA-driven environments

  • PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification (desirable)
