Engineering Manager (Infrastructure)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Sydney and are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team. 

As an Engineering Manager in our Infrastructure team, you will oversee a group of talented engineers, providing both line management and technical leadership to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

What you should know about our Engineering team:

• You own your projects: you build it, you ship it, you run it.
• We were born in the cloud: practices and principles like CI/CD, IaC, O11y and CyberSec are part of what we do.

The main technologies you will use include AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and Kafka.

What you will bring to the role:

• Prior leadership experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience with AWS or other cloud-based architectures.
• Ability to implement, coach and share your strong understanding of DevOps practices and application architecture.
• Experience in short and medium term planning and technical project leadership.
• Understanding of resilience and cloud security techniques.
• Experience with incident response.
• Experience with ITIL processes and practices.
