We are the creators of Flipper Zero — a portable device for tech enthusiasts and engineers. It’s a gadget with an awesome community that brings together millions of people around the world.


We're building new products:

  • Flipper One — a full-featured ARM-based computer running Linux in a compact form factor, powered by the Rockchip RK3576 SoC.

  • BUSY Bar — a smart productivity multi-tool that helps users stay focused and minimize distractions.

We're looking for an Engineering Project Manager to coordinate the transition of our hardware products from prototyping to mass production. You'll work directly with engineering teams and manufacturing partners in Shenzhen to keep launches on schedule and solve production challenges hands-on.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and coordination of electronic products manufacturing launch

  • Managing prototyping builds (both EE and ME parts)

  • Managing testing equipment fabrication, managing testing software debugging

  • Communicating with factories for resolving any kind of problems (design, process, material)

  • Managing product launch schedule, pushing all the involved parties to deliver before deadlines

  • Coordinating the DFM process for the newly launched products

  • Managing and coordinating the certification process (FCC, CE, UKCA, SRRC etc)

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Chinese, ability to work an international team

  • 2-4 years experience in launching hardware products to the market – from prototyping to mass production

  • Basic knowledge of EE and ME design, ability to check and understand Gerber, CAD and other engineering drawings

  • Knowledge of modern EE components, ability to source for components and their alternatives

  • Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for cost (DFC) principles

  • Knowledge of modern testing methods in electronics manufacturing

Nice-to-haves:

  • Understanding of quality control processes and basic quality assurance procedures

  • Knowledge of supply chain management and manufacturing operations

  • Experience managing product certification or regulatory compliance for consumer electronics
