Enterprise Account Executive - New Zealand Territory

Why We Have This Role

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Enterprise Account Executive based in Sydney to drive new business growth across New Zealand, owning a diverse mix of public sector, enterprise, and large commercial accounts. This role focuses on partnering with world-leading organisations to help improve their customer and employee experiences through Qualtrics’ 360° Experience Management (XM) platform. You’ll work closely with senior leaders both internally and at client organisations across multiple industry verticals, playing a key role in expanding Qualtrics’ footprint and revenue in a growing, varied territory. Regular travel to New Zealand is a core aspect of this role to build strong client relationships and support business expansion.

How You’ll Find Success

  • Proven ability to sell SaaS solutions into public sector, enterprise, and commercial organisations, engaging marketing, research, and HR leadership.
  • Skilled in acquiring new clients, managing complex sales cycles, negotiating, and closing deals with senior executives.
  • Strong relationship builder who establishes trust and becomes a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across diverse industries and markets.
  • Highly competitive and resilient with a demonstrated ability to drive business development through cold calling and prospecting.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and disciplined in managing sales pipeline, forecasting, and process adherence.
  • Experience selling in MarTech, HR Tech, or public sector preferred.
  • Comfortable with regular travel between Sydney and New Zealand to foster strong customer partnerships and territory expansion.

Things You’ll Do

  • Own new business development and account expansion within your assigned New Zealand territory including public sector, enterprise, and commercial accounts.
  • Lead conversations that clearly connect Qualtrics’ XM platform to prospects’ strategic business challenges and goals.
  • Build and nurture senior relationships at client organisations, becoming a trusted advisor for experience management solutions.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close complex deals in a highly targeted territory.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute demand generation strategies and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Maintain deep market and competitive knowledge to tailor winning proposals and pricing strategies.
  • Travel regularly between Sydney and New Zealand to engage clients, support deals, and drive territory growth.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • Bachelor’s degree is advantageous but not essential 
  • 10+ years’ experience selling SaaS into enterprise and public sector accounts, preferably including New Zealand markets or similar territories.
  • Proven track record in new business development, full sales cycle management, cold calling, and closing complex deals.
  • Strong experience using Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM tools.
  • SaaS subscription sales experience mandatory.
  • Experience selling into public sector, MarTech, or HR Tech environments highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated comfort and success with regular travel in a dual-country territory.
