Drive Growth with Nearmap

Are you a senior sales professional who loves building Executive relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and closing complex Government deals? At Nearmap, we’re looking for an Senior Government Account Executive (Enterprise) to join our team and take charge of some of our most important and strategic  accounts.

This isn’t just a sales role, it’s about becoming a trusted partner. You’ll co-own customer relationships with a dedicated Customer Success Manager, working as a squad to deliver renewals, upsells, and brand-new opportunities. You’ll map out strategic account plans, lead conversations with decision-makers and mobilisers, and orchestrate internal experts to deliver real value to customers.

You’ll be at the forefront of helping organisations discover how Nearmap’s technology can transform the way they work. From developing new partnerships (including VARs) to guiding customers through industry trends and use cases, you’ll position yourself as the go-to advisor for your accounts.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Government accounts with clear territory/account plans
  • Drive new and upsell business while partnering with your CSM on renewals and adoption
  • Build strong, value-based relationships with executive stakeholders and mobilisers
  • Lead proposals and deliver compelling, customer-focused solutions
  • Collaborate with Marketing, BDRs, Partnerships & Alliances to generate and progress pipeline
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships (including VARs) alongside your CSM
  • Represent Nearmap at conferences, webinars, and industry events
  • Stay across market trends and develop deep expertise in Nearmap’s technology and customer use cases

Qualifications

  • 8 + years closing enterprise sales, ideally in SaaS, consistently hitting quota
  • Experience managing 50+ accounts, balancing new business and growth
  • Confidence engaging Goverment executives and influencing key decisions at the State and Federal level
  • Proven success in upsell, new logo acquisition, and customer expansion
  • Skilled in value-based selling, building ROI-driven business cases
  • Strong collaborator, able to align internal and partner stakeholders
  • Experience with proposals, quoting, and complex sales cycles
  • Salesforce experience a plus; knowledge of aerial imagery or location content desirable
