The Enterprise Account Manager role in Tyro’s Growth team manages our highest-value merchants as a trusted advisor—providing day-to-day support, ongoing consultation, and industry expertise to drive retention through cross-sell of Tyro products and solutions. You’ll also own new business growth and onboarding of Enterprise merchants, explore new industry verticals, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate adoption of Tyro’s omnichannel solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Own growth targets (new business written) for the Enterprise portfolio—acquire new merchants and expand share.

  • Onboard new Enterprise customers smoothly for a great first experience.

  • Grow existing accounts: build early trust, drive adoption, and cross/upsell to multiple decision makers.

  • Prospect new verticals and craft tailored go-to-market plays.

  • Drive omnichannel adoption across your account network.

  • Run ongoing discovery of merchant needs; translate into solutions by orchestrating Finance, CS, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Legal.

  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders; monitor and reduce churn with data-led action plans.

  • Lead commercial negotiations (including rate analysis) to retain and expand accounts.

  • Identify whitespace and partner with Product to scope and deliver enhancements.

  • Analyse portfolio performance and present insights/recommendations to customers.

  • Be the external face of Tyro’s Enterprise AM capability and lift brand awareness with corporates.

  • Make ROI-driven decisions; understand Tyro pricing models and profitability levers.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ Account Management experience, preferably with a payments or technology focus

  • Strong grasp of the merchant acquiring and banking products

  • Highly organised, self-motivated, responsible and accountable.

  • Thorough understanding of the various Tyro pricing models and product value propositions.

  • Strong negotiator able to persuade prospects on value.

  • Results driven with demonstrated business acumen, delivering outcomes for both Tyro and its customers.

  • Strategic thinker able to help customers achieve their goals with the assistance of Tyro’s Products.

  • Understand the changing landscape of merchant acquiring and find solutions using the Tyro Product suite to solve for merchants.

  • Be the face of Tyro at an Enterprise level, carrying themselves with professionalism at all times.

  • Be aware of competitor activity and call necessary internal resources to defend from any loss of merchant.
