The Global Technology Solutions (GTS) - Strategy and Delivery Team is a dynamic group of highly motivated and results-driven professionals dedicated to translating ResMed’s strategy into an actionable roadmap.

Let’s talk about the role 

Become a key part of our Enterprise Architecture team at Resmed as an Enterprise Information Architect, where you will have a great opportunity to leverage your knowledge and experience to lead and shape the information architecture and information management activities. You will be responsible for: 

Strategic Planning & Architecture: 

  • Establish a Resmed Information Management Framework based on Industry best practice.  
  • Define and maintain Resmed’s information architecture, aligning with enterprise architecture frameworks and business goals. 
  • Develop information models, data flows, and architecture diagrams to guide enterprise data initiatives. 

Data Governance & Quality: 

  • Establish, communicate and help to apply data governance policies and standards. 
  • Uplift awareness of and establish early data governance practices.  
  • Collaborate with data stewards and business units to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance. 

Collaboration & Leadership: 

  • Work closely with enterprise architects, domain architects, solution architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and meet information needs. 
  • Provide expert data architecture advice and solutions to achieve business outcomes within a complex organisational environment. 
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to improve data architecture maturity and capability. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uplift the data domain awareness, maturity and artefacts and establish early data governance processes.
  • Guide large programs of work in data architecture activities and decision.  

Technology & Tools: 

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement information architecture tools and platforms (e.g.  MDM, metadata repositories). 
  • Support data catalog implementation.
  • Support the adoption and ongoing development of modern data platforms (cloud data lakes, data warehouses, etc.). 

Documentation & Communication: 

  • Develop architectural artifacts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, data flow diagrams etc.  
  • Communicate complex information architecture concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership teams. 

Let’s talk about you 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, information management, or enterprise architecture roles. 
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, master data management, data modeling, and data integration. 
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks (TOGAF 8+, Zachman, etc.) and data architecture methodologies. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and modern data technologies such as Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Erwin) and enterprise architecture tools (e.g. Sparx EA, Lean IX, Abacus Avolution). 
  • Good understanding of emerging technologies like AI/ML, predictive analytics, NoSQL databases, and data visualisation.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certifications such as DAMA, CDMP, or similar. 
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). 
  • Strong analytical, and organizational, skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills and senior stakeholder engagement.  
  • Experience in Waterfall, Agile and DevOps environments. 
  • Experience in Master Data Management solution implementation.
