Hastings Deering is on the hunt for an Equipment Officer to join our award-winning team in Toowoomba. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.
As an Equipment Officer, you will:
Load and unload safely - Carry out loading and unloading activities for Assembly Workshop and Rental including completing all load check forms.
Operate the forklift safely - Perform safe controlled forklift operations at all times.
Quality Matters - Complete machine arrival inspections and final delivery inspections.
Make sure it's right - Review shipping reports for all new equipment deliveries
Identify Damadge Early - Inspect all new equipment for damage or discrepancies
Be proud of your workplace - Participate in stocktakes and maintain 5S standards
Security is everything - Ensure equipment is kept in a safe and secure manner
Communicate effectively - Liaise with relevant stakeholders internally and externally

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of transports industry
Current drivers and forklift licence - essential
Ability to work in a physically demanding role safely
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business
Strong customer service skills
Sound computing skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to operate a broad range of heavy equipment is desirable
