As an Equity Analyst, you will perform fundamental analyses, monitor news, identify market anomalies, and improve pricing processes while working closely with the trading team to influence decision-making.

Our Equity Analyst team is integral in helping the trading team make decisions. The team is passionate about the equities /options trading environment and thrive on the process of researching and predicting how equities and derivatives would react in certain scenarios. We're seeking someone with a strong background in financial markets to join the team. Your input will impact the positions we put on and the ways we manage risk around certain market events.
Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental bottom-up analysis of the stocks under coverage and peers, including IPOs.
  • Daily monitoring and analysing of news flow including corporate, industry and regulatory news.
  • Identify and monitor upcoming catalysts as well as anomalies, mispricing in the market, and special situations and providing real-time news analysis to your trading team.
  • Design new processes to improve the speed and accuracy into our pricing.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years' + of demonstrated experience working as an Equity Analyst.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Derivatives and/or structured products experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-moving, high-pressure, and competitive environment.
  • A demonstrated passion and understanding of financial markets are required.
  • Comfort working with incomplete information, utilizing quantitative information as available but able supplement with qualitative insight.
  • Tertiary qualified. CFA is a plus.
  • Bloomberg and Python experience preferred.
