About Our Corporate Advisory (Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and M&A) Team

We’re home to one of Australia’s leading ECM practices, with an established portfolio of listed clients across a range of sectors as well as strong relationships with all major investment banks. While we’re known for market-leading equity capital markets work, our team also works across public and private M&A for corporate clients, as well as providing disclosure, ASX Listing Rules and corporate governance advice.

That means real breadth. You won’t be siloed — you’ll work on IPOs, strategic M&A and complex listed company matters, building into a genuinely well-rounded corporate lawyer. The team has led some of the market’s most significant transactions, including:

  • Space X on the Australian retail offer for its USD75 billion IPO – the largest in history at the time.
  • Megaport on its acquisition of Latitude.sh and concurrent $220 million equity raising
  • Virgin Australia’s $2.3 billion IPO
  • The $8.8 billion reverse takeover and ASX listing of Chemist Warehouse by Sigma Healthcare
  • Guzman y Gomez’s $3 billion IPO
  • $1.6 billion sale of Eucalyptus to US-listed company, Hims & Hers Health, Inc

Our focus is doing challenging, well-executed work and giving advice that makes sense commercially and doesn’t sit on the fence.

You’ll work closely with a hands-on partner, Adam D’Andreti, who values teaching and is genuinely invested in developing confident, commercially astute lawyers. We’re a friendly, supportive team that looks out for one another — and enjoys working together through the intensity of major deals.

About You

  • You are a corporate lawyer with experience in ECM and M&A, and a genuine interest in developing across both.
  • You enjoy the pace of live deals, are good at being across the detail, and know that good judgment (informed by technical skill) matters.
  • You’re practical, solutions-focused and comfortable giving clear and responsive advice that helps clients make decisions. You also value being part of a team that shares knowledge, backs each other and has a good time while they’re doing it.
  • You’re interested in deepening your exposure to listed company work, including disclosure, ASX Listing Rules and governance matters.

Above all, you want to do great work, keep developing, and be part of the deals that make headlines — in a team that’s collaborative, supportive and invested in each other’s success.
