Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled event marketing professional to join the Dropbox team and contribute to our events and experiences strategy, supporting the Head of Event Marketing. You will assist in planning, executing, and optimizing events that resonate with our key audiences and support our broader marketing goals.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in event execution and maintain clear communication of progress and results. This position requires strong organizational and project management skills, creativity, and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
Responsibilities- Support the Head of Event Marketing in implementing the event marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and our product roadmap.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including exclusive hospitality opportunities, sponsorship events, annual conferences, and digital events/webinars.
- Manage operational requirements for each event, including inputs, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and deliverables, while ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional partners and agencies.
- Maintain a rolling event calendar, providing visibility into key milestones for each event.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Communications, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Central Design, Internal Events, and Sales teams to align event goals, strategy, and messaging.
- Contribute to the analysis of event performance, leveraging data-driven insights to improve outcomes and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and help propose innovative ideas for event concepts, formats, and processes.
- 6+ years of experience in working on both smaller-scale and larger events, within the tech industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring execution on time and within budget
- Problem-solving mindset with demonstrated success in fast-paced environments and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Experience in supporting digital event formats and environments
- Familiarity with analyzing data sets and using insights to inform decision-making
- A passion for translating brand principles into impactful, real-life experiences
