About the role:

As the Events Advisor, you'll be the driving force behind the Sydney office’s event strategy and execution.

You will deliver exceptional events, both internal and external, that support office growth and reinforce RSM’s brand and values. You will also provide marketing support to local Partners and assist with implementing national campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Sydney office events, from concept to execution in conjunction with the National Marketing team.

  • Create and manage the yearly plan of all office events including strategy, budgeting, timelines and reporting to stakeholders in conjunction with the National Marketing team.

  • Attendance at office events to ensure strong client experience and brand standards are maintained.

  • Financial administration, including disbursements and electronic filing of invoices.

  • Manipulation of databases and distribution lists using all available sources.

  • Management and co-ordination of local office sponsorship event activities.

  • Work with senior marketing to review and update marketing and promotional materials.

  • Provide assistance and support to Sydney Partners with Sydney marketing and event requests as required.

  • Assist with the implementation and support national marketing strategies for Sydney.

About you:

You’re an accomplished events and marketing professional with a strong strategic mindset and hands-on execution style, ready to elevate the Sydney office's brand and client engagement through exceptional event delivery.

Experience & Attributes

  • 5–8 years in a similar role, preferably within professional services.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all seniority levels, including Partners and Directors.

  • Exceptional project management abilities, with a track record of juggling multiple initiatives.

  • A hands-on, detail-oriented approach combined with excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Adaptable, results-driven, and able to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or a related business discipline.

  • Solid grasp of marketing principles and best practices.

  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite and overall PC proficiency.

Desirable

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Marketing Automation tools, and basic familiarity with design software.

Eligibility to work permanently in Australia is required for this role. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
