The Role
We’re looking for a Data & Integration Engineer to join our Investment Technology team; a hands-on technical expert who thrives on building robust data pipelines, integrating systems, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.

You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions, integrating internal and external systems, and supporting the delivery of custom technology platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full data lifecycle - from ingestion and transformation to integration and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Azure Data Services.
  • Develop and optimise SQL-based data models and queries for reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate data across systems using APIs, cloud services, and custom connectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver business-focused solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with internal frameworks.
  • Document technical solutions and mentor junior team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture and integration practices.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in data engineering, integration, or software development roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Azure (e.g.SQL Server, Functions, Logic Apps).
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and data modelling.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud-native integration patterns.
  • Bonus: Experience with tools like Power BI, Docker/Kubernetes, Git, and Salesforce. Proficiency in other programming languages e.g. C#
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a collaborative environment.
