The Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our CCMR team, supporting a Partner and a team of Special Counsel and Lawyers in the CCMR practice.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

  • Diary and Email Management: Proactively managing diaries, workflow and inboxes to anticipate priorities, protect time and keep matters moving efficiently.
  • Client and Relationship Management: Liaising with clients and other external and internal stakeholders, including organising client events and lunches, and following up on billing.
  • Travel and Accommodation: Organising travel, flights and accommodation.
  • Document and Billing Management: Managing documents and files, monthly billing and accounts reporting.

About You

As an experienced Executive Assistant, you will have a legal administrative background and will also be:

  • Detail-Oriented: A strong focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experienced: More than 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant in a law firm, with previous experience supporting at Partner level.
  • Proactive: Able to anticipate needs, identify priorities early and take initiative to ensure the Practice Lead is well prepared and one step ahead.
  • Commercially Minded: Able to think beyond the immediate task, understand the broader priorities of the practice and connect the dots to anticipate needs, solve problems and keep things moving efficiently.
  • Sound in Judgement: Able to use discretion, common sense and strong situational awareness to make thoughtful decisions, escalate issues appropriately and support the Practice Lead with confidence.
  • Highly Skilled: Excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships, advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies, including AI.
  • Client Focused: Committed to providing excellent client service.
  • Energetic and Motivated: Looking to build a career within a top-tier corporate law firm in a collegiate working environment.
