As Executive Director Operations, you will be a key strategic partner to the Development CEO and CFO, ensuring the profitable and efficient execution of high-value projects across Australia and international markets. Your leadership will optimize operational performance, maintain strong margins, and elevate governance and risk management. This role demands agility in solving high-risk, complex business problems managing technical competencies as well as leading cross functional teams to achieve commercial and strategic objectives 

 

Your role: 

  • Working closely with the CEO and CFO on strategy development and execution as well as operational insights 

  • Maintain margins on development fees, drive operational productivity, cost base and revenue growth to ensure development profitability  

  • Facilitate key investment decisions and coordinate board-level submissions 

  • Ensure consistency of approach and delivery cross the development project portfolio through seamless collaboration between internal tams and external partners 

  • Build relationships with investors, government agencies, and key industry stakeholders 

  • Foster a high-performance culture, developing and mentoring teams across Australia and international markets. 

 

 

  • What You Bring: 
    Proven leadership in real estate development, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale complex projects 

  • Superior people management skills, with a passion to drive performance and enhance culture with the ability to inspire, mentor and build high-performing diverse teams 

  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in revenue optimization, cost control, and risk mitigation 

  • An expert problem solver in high-risk, high-value project environments  
    Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience in government and industry relations
