Executive - Industrial & Systems Engineering

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the Technical (IE- Front End) team as an Executive- Industrial & Systems Engineering. This role would enable you to ensure that the Industrial Engineering function in the respective accounts aligned to the business requirements, submitting costed SMV in a competitive, timely and accurate manner
to meet customers, target price points, whilst generating SMV savings via method & process improvements to retain earnings and ensuring manufacturing feasibility of methods and processes, submission of GSD SMV to planning and manufacturing in a timely and accurate
manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend initial tech pack meetings to evaluate customer enquiries and development requirements, ensuring production-feasible sewing constructions, accurate and timely SMV preparation, adherence to PLM, SOP processes, and effective cost justification to support profitable Fact-Based Costing (FBC) and FOB price calculations.
- Offering competitive costed SMV in order to satisfy customer in terms of CM value. Applying product re-engineering, methods & process innovation to reduce costs & improve productivity in order to retain higher earnings, profits & continuous improvement. Prepare ROI and Payback data to justify the same.
- Provide provisional & most updated SMV break downs to plants for capacity booking and machinery planning on request.
- Provide GSD SMV break downs at integration (FI) stage according to integration constructions. Attend and resolve plant
concerns at integration whilst proving, justifying the given methods and GSD motions. Ensure all concerns are addressed
prior to TP & PP for streamlined production start. - Provide final standard Minute Values (GSD SMVs) & as per final sewing construction for requested styles accurately and in a timely manner in the Tech Pack issued to the plants.
- Attend and resolve all relevant concerns arising during production start or on-going production of a style, working with relevant stakeholders and problem solving at the factory floor as required.
- Carrying out method standardization, standard SMVs application etc. across divisions to ensure agreed standards are maintained for each style and each customer.
Qualifications:
- Degree in production and industrial engineering management
- 1-3 years industrial experience from Design to manufacturing process (IE/PRODUCTION/COSTING)
- GSD (UK) license
