We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for an Executive Manager Business Continuity Management BCM. This role will report to the Executive General Manager, Resilience and Asset Management.
A bit about your role
As the Executive Manager of Business Continuity Management, you will lead the development, implementation, and continual enhancement of nbn’s Business Continuity Management Framework. This critical framework enables the enterprise to anticipate, withstand, and recover from disruption, helping the nbn adapt and thrive during uncertain times. You will shape and deliver a contemporary, integrated business continuity management system, building deep partnerships across the business to foster a resilient and future-ready culture.
In this role, you will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all aspects of business continuity, designing governance, assurance, and education programs that embed resilience into nbn’s DNA. This will see you working across multiple business units, external partners, and senior leadership teams to ensure business continuity principles are tightly aligned with risk management, cyber resilience, and crisis response activities. Your work will directly influence the way nbn prepares for and navigates complexity, delivering outcomes that are critical to maintaining essential services for communities across Australia.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in designing and uplifting enterprise-wide business continuity frameworks across diverse organisations and industries. You are someone who thrives on building practical, future-focused solutions in environments characterised by change, complexity, and high expectations. Your technical depth in business continuity management is complemented by a collaborative and influential style, working with compassion and clarity to bring people together and drive sustainable improvement.
You are experienced in leading in high-pressure, high-change environments and are comfortable navigating competing demands with resilience and care. You believe in the power of connection across teams and functions, using feedback, consultation, and continuous learning to refine and strengthen business continuity practices. With your strategic mindset, collaborative spirit, and commitment to purpose, you will be instrumental in ensuring nbn is prepared for what the future holds.
