As Executive Manager - Commercial Finance (12-month FTC), you'll lead the Business Partnering team for our Consumer & Retail division, driving commercial insights and strategically partnering across the Quantium Group globally. You'll be the key financial business partner to Group Executives for Consumer and Retail, working closely with vertical business unit leadership on commercial strategy, daily execution, and performance interventions. Owning the revenue close process for the Consumer Vertical, you'll play a critical role in budget setting, business case development, and supporting the FP&A team through process change and transformation.


How You'll Create Impact

  • Drive strategic business partnering: Act as the senior financial business partner to Retail and Consumer Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams, providing commercial insight and evaluating the P&L impact of strategic initiatives
  • Enable data-driven decisions: Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable guidance for cross-functional stakeholders, and lead ad-hoc business case development to support growth strategies and operational improvements
  • Own budgeting, planning and performance management: Deliver timely, accurate monthly reporting with actionable insight into trends and variances; own the annual budgeting process; build and maintain revenue forecasting models and dashboards tracking profitability, sales KPIs, and opex; lead monthly revenue close for the Consumer Vertical
  • Build exceptional capability: Lead and mentor a direct report and dotted-line report, provide global leadership to two FBPs across Consumer & Retail international markets, and drive continuous improvement of reporting and finance processes through automation and standardisation

Required Experience And Capabilities

  • Qualified accountant with full CA/CPA/CIMA membership (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years' experience in a broad commercial finance role, with a strong business partnering and FP&A focus
  • Significant people management experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing business partnering teams
  • Experience in financial modelling, P&L management, and commercial analysis
  • Background in FMCG, technology, consulting, or professional services preferred
  • Experience operating within a complex, global organisation with an international remit desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner with stakeholders to solve complex business problems, identifying root causes while remaining solutions-focused
  • Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships at senior leadership level, including effective upward management and escalation
  • Confident presenter, skilled at explaining financial detail clearly to senior, non-financial audiences
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial planning and analysis tools
