We have an opportunity for an Executive Manager, Group Reporting & Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our Group Finance team in Sydney. This is a senior finance leadership role, responsible for the full spectrum of group reporting, FP&A, financial and management reporting, finance transformation, and statutory compliance for Quantium globally. You'll drive reporting transformation across the finance function, lead and develop a high-performing team, and own the on-time, in-full delivery of group financial and management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, ensuring the CFO and executive team receive accurate, timely and insightful information to support strategic decision-making.


How will you make an impact?
  • Drive reporting transformation and continuous improvement of finance processes through automation, standardisation, and enhanced controls.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of six, building a high-performing, capable and technically sound team.
  • Build strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders across the global business and Woolworths finance teams, operating effectively across multiple time zones and geographies.
  • Own the group's financial reporting and consolidation process for the Quantium Group globally, including preparation and sign-off of financial statements and accurate, timely statutory and management reporting.
  • Own on-time, in-full delivery of the monthly CFO report, financial review packs, ad-hoc reporting, and executive- and board-level financial materials, presentations, and business reviews.
  • Lead the quarterly forecast cycle and annual budgeting processes, driving forecast accuracy and monitoring financial performance.
  • Provide forward-looking, commercially grounded analysis, risks, insights, advice, and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making for the CFO, executive team, and wider business

Required Experience And Capabilities

  • CA / CPA / CIMA qualified with 10+ years post-qualification experience in broad Reporting (Group, Financial and Management), FP&A, Financial Operations/ Accounting, Commercial Finance and Finance Transformation/ Consulting/ strategy (with a focus on Finance) experience
  • Experience operating within a complex global organisations
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner with stakeholders to solve complex business problems, identifying root causes while remaining solutions-focused 
  • Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships at senior leadership level, including effective upward management and escalation 
  • Structured and clear communicator, able to translate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences 
  • Collaborative leadership style with a focus on raising team capability and driving performance
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and shift between strategic and operational priorities
