In this 12-month contract role, you will be responsible for advancing Optiver’s end-to-end experienced recruitment strategy to find, attract, and hire experienced talent. You will work closely with leaders across the business on what is needed now and into the future. This role will focus on technology recruitment.

What you’ll do

As an Experienced Recruiter, you’ll work alongside a passionate team of specialists, focusing on key areas that contribute to the team’s goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of end-to-end recruitment process, including - but not limited to - developing sourcing strategies, mapping and headhunting niche talent, crafting the selection process, reviewing resumes, interviewing and assessing candidates, salary negotiations and closing of candidates.
  • Forging strong partnerships with stakeholders, sourcing and recruitment partners to build robust candidate pipelines.
  • Designing and delivering innovative approaches to source and identify passive talent.
  • Creating, recommending, and implementing strategies to tackle problems and build pipelines through sourcing, referrals and research.
  • Coaching, guiding and advising stakeholders on hiring processes and best practices.
  • Adopting a data-driven approach to provide insights into the health of the hiring pipeline, providing direction and training to stakeholders.
  • Delivering a high-touch experience, from application stage to offer, and demonstrate capability to not only assess cultural add but also represent the culture of the organisation.

Who you are

  • Proven experience in end-to-end experienced recruitment, ideally in-house and within financial services, technology, or professional services.
  • Knowledge of technology domains highly advantageous.
  • A consultative approach with demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using recruitment platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter) and Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • A proactive, positive mindset with a passion for identifying and hiring top talent.
