In support of our ongoing growth strategy and in anticipation of a steady pipeline of work, we welcome expressions of interest from lawyers keen to explore opportunities with Pinsent Masons in our Sydney office.
We are particularly interested to hear from qualified lawyers at a range of levels who bring construction expertise in the infrastructure and energy sectors, with both advisory and litigation experience.

CANDIDATE SUMMARY
We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who have the following skills and attributes:
- Be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience (in-house or private practice)
- Have demonstrated expertise in construction law and dispute resolution
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities under pressure or within tight timeframes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences
- Be commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced high-performing team, and
- Bring energy and passion to the role!
Additionally, we require you to have a Valid Right to Work for the country you are applying in, and that you are qualified to practice law in Australia.
THE TEAM
Unique to the Australian market, we have built our presence entirely around the needs of businesses in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Our practice combines a wealth of transactional, advisory and contentious experience, providing legal advice on the entire lifecycle of an asset.
Our construction advisory and disputes team works side-by-side with our clients throughout the delivery phase of a project with experience in early analysis of claims, live disputes or distressed projects, adjudication under Security of Payment legislation, arbitration and litigation (both domestic and international), alternative dispute resolution including expert determination, negotiation, mediation and dispute review boards, strategic case management and negotiating the settlement of claims.
