Job Summary:  

We are seeking a Product owner for external digital products taking a pivotal role, responsible for managing and coordinating the relationship with external digital audit strategic suppliers (such as Inflo), enhancing both the current, and future use of these products by the audit practice. In this position, you will be instrumental in driving the implementation of these products and leading the transition to a digital first approach.  The Product owner will work closely with others in the Digital Audit Team, the external product team and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of ongoing digital transformation. 
 
A look into the role 

As a Product owner for external digital products, you will:  

  • Lead the transformation to a digital first approach by working with the external product providers to ensure they meet the evolving user needs. 
  • Ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of specific external products within our product suite 
  • Develop proficiency in the use of these products and platforms, and engaging with the audit practice, to enable you to lead the transition to a digital first approach. 
  • Lead in measuring the success of contracts, troubleshooting issues, and involvement with procurement processes. 
  • Work with key stakeholders to drive and maximize the adoption of external digital audit products within the practice while establishing appropriate governance on the use of them to ensure quality and risk are effectively managed. 
  • Establish a culture where engagement teams proactively seek assistance from the Digital Audit Team in the use of these external digital products, driven by the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of our solutions. 

You will also where appropriate collaborate with key contacts throughout the Grant Thornton International (GTIL) network to share knowledge, skills and best practice to enable us to enhance our digital offering both locally and globally. 
 
Knowing you’re right for us 

Joining us as an Associate Director, the minimum criteria you’ll need is to be driven and determined to find solutions to audit challenges. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.  

  • Proven experience working as a product owner, particularly in the implementation of digital solutions within an audit or similar professional services environment. 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and work with stakeholders at various levels of the organization and externally.  
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of driving digital transformation initiatives and fostering a culture of digital enablement. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles 
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
