Job Description

The role:

At Lendi Group, our Finance Team is a powerhouse of Financial Reporting, Financial Operations, and Business Partnering professionals with a shared vision of cultivating a leading, dynamic, and modern finance team. We go beyond spreadsheets and PowerPoint– we leverage best-in-class technology to deliver fact-based insights and decision support to influence business strategy.  

  • Key member of the team supporting the Finance Leadership team across various business units, responsible for analysis of monthly results including analytical commentary
  • Contribute to finance modelling within Anaplan, building and maintaining business driver led finance models
  • Contribute to the annual budget process, completion of periodic forecasts, and ad-hoc information requests
  • Monitor business and cost trends, and provide insightful financial and commercial insights to enable strategic and operational decisions
  • Identify opportunities focused on process improvement, leveraging technology to improve reporting
  • Partner with the financial reporting and operations team and contribute to overall financial control

 

Qualifications

  • Accounting degree with CPA or CA, or on-going preferred
  • Previous experience in an analytical role highly regarded
  • Interest in using leading technology for planning, forecasting, and reporting (we use Anaplan to connect business plans to financial outcomes)
  • Analytical, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • Proactive and curious self-starter who thrives on asking thoughtful questions, jumping into challenges, and taking ownership to move things forward
  • A collaborative working style to work with finance and business stakeholders
  • Excel proficient, comfortable analysing large data sets and performing financial modelling
