The Finance Analyst role involves managing finance processes related to P&L, conducting PVM analysis, and facilitating monthly performance reviews. Responsibilities include maintaining forecasts, preparing presentations, coordinating planning processes, and providing financial support to senior executives while identifying process improvement opportunities.
Job Description
This role assists in the management of finance processes associated with the P&L of ANZ. You would provide information and guidance for local and zone rituals and routines regarding:
- PVM analysis (Price Volume Mix Analysis) for all categories and business units
- Monthly performance review (EBITDA)
- Monthly financial review (Cash Flow and Treasury)
- Monthly forecasting
You would be the primary contact during the annual ZBB process, ensuring data is readily available out of various systems/ resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintainence of forecast file for the monthly, quarterly, and annual business cycles for the reporting and analysis
- Compiling and preparing presentation slides for monthly performance and forecast reviews
- Preparing and running Weekly Sales Call routine
- Preparing and submitting monthly requests from APAC
- Co-ordination of planning (budget and monthly forecast) process across the ANZ Business
- Ensure completion of the forecasting cycle outlining to management any risks or opportunities, actions required
- Review, analyse and challenge key budget/forecast assumptions and outcomes
- Budgeting and Forecasting of Sales, Supply Chain, Fixed Costs (ZBB), and other below-OI (Operating Income) items - Work with analysts across the business and throughout the budget/forecast process
- Provide ongoing financial support and analysis to MD/CFO (ANZ) as well as executives in APAC/WHQ
- Identify areas of improvement of key business processes and drive changes to processes as required
About you:
- Bachelor Degree in finance, business, commerce, and/or accounting
- Exceptional excel/database skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia
