Job Description
Global Finance & Business Management works to strategically manage capital, drive growth and efficiencies, maintain financial reporting and proactively manage risk. By providing information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions, teams ensure the company can navigate all types of market conditions while protecting our fortress balance sheet.
The Portfolio Manager is expected to partner with Delivery Managers to oversee the execution requirements set forth in the Global Supplier Management Policy and Third Party Oversight (TPO) Standards for their portfolio of engagements. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of vendor engagement, starting with onboarding into the corporate tools through steady state and off-boarding. The position reports directly to the Global Technology CFO COO Executive Director of Core Shared Services, which is a consolidated shared services function that includes Inventory Management, Inter-Affiliate Services (IAS) and Business Management services.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record and prior experience in one or more of the following roles:
  • Third Party Risk Management
  • Vendor Management/Delivery Management/Vendor Portfolio Management
  • Third Party Oversight
  • Procurement/Sourcing for IT products and services

Job responsibilities:
  • Supports and oversees completion of all Third Party Oversight (TPO) and line of business Vendor Management requirements by working with stakeholders through completion of deliverables during the Onboarding, Steady State and Disengagement phases.
  • Works with all key stakeholders including Supplier Oversight, Supplier Assurance, Sourcing, Legal, Compliance, and Legal Entity Local Contacts etc. to produce all TPO related deliverables.
  • Identifies and resolves data integrity issues (e.g. validation of benefitting legal entities, APAC supplemental data requirements).
  • Manages and monitors the portfolio of engagements for which they are responsible, including:
  • Approaching contract expiration dates to mitigate gaps in contract coverage
  • Timely and appropriate handling or escalating any indications of potential issues
  • Regulatory Country Assignments, Compliance Assignments, and Risk Overlays
  • Scorecard completion with accurate information and evidence to back up ratings
  • Financial Health Assessment findings
  • Supplier Containment requirements
  • Prepares monthly reporting of Portfolio Management Book of Work providing a complete preview of all deliverables due in the coming 30 to 60 days.
  • Facilitates the completion of all regulatory country compliance, data privacy impact, and legal compliance reviews to ensure all engagements are compliant with the Corporate TPO Program.
  • Supports internal and external audit RFIs relating to Vendor Management and Third Party outsourcing.
  • Perform Quality Checks on information in the appropriate corporate tools to ensure systems are up to date with information that aligns to the contracts.
  • Validate application information from the corporate application Inventory repository to ensure alignment with the appropriate vendor engagement details.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in a vendor or TPO oversight, risk/controls, or audit related role is required.
  • Recent experience in vendor portfolio management, delivery management, 3rd party risk management, sourcing, TPO, and/or vendor management.
  • Experience with onboarding new vendors, inherent risk ratings, vendor performance scorecards, 3rd party IT Risk assessments, contract reviews, regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across organizational and geographical boundaries.
  • Strong control orientation, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read a contract and validate required information.
  • Experience in a matrix management framework - i.e. manage by influence without direct authority.
  • Identify and implement best practices, process improvements and automation, leveraging industry best practices.
  • Superior communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, garnering respect and appropriately exercising authority in a collaborative cross-cultural environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products. Confluence and/or JIRA experience a plus. Experience with procurement tools (Ariba or similar) and IT Risk Management tools (Archer or similar).
