Finance Business Partner FP&A 

Join our Group Finance team at Cuscal as a Finance Business Partner FP&A, where you will play a pivotal role in bridging financial insights with strategic decision-making across our Product Domains. This role demands a high level of analytical acumen, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex financial models into insightful narratives for audiences of all technical levels and seniority.This is more than just a numbers role, it's about leading with insight, owning the full P&L, and helping shape the future of innovative technology solutions for our clients. 

Your Impact 

As a trusted advisor, you’ll: 

  • Consolidate monthly performance across all Product Domains, including reporting driver-based variance analysis and commentary, driving financial performance and accountability.  

  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic advice, insightful reporting, and actionable recommendations.  

  • Take initiative to plan, prioritise, and guide the business toward its business goals. 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Financial Leadership 

  • Drive revenue management and performance across the business unit. 

  • Lead financial planning and analysis to support strategic initiatives. 

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. 

Business Case & Financial Modelling 

  • Build and maintain driver-based financial models to evaluate new opportunities. 

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and contract reviews in collaboration with business leads. 

  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis to inform decision-making. 

Forecasting & Budgeting 

  • Develop and maintain a 3-year strategic financial plan with Domain stakeholders.  

  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to deliver on the business plan. 

  • Establish performance tracking and reporting frameworks. 

Monthly Reporting 

  • Prepare and close monthly P&L, including journal entries and variance analysis.  

  • Present performance dashboards that highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities. 

What You’ll Bring 

  • A degree in Accounting or a related Finance discipline.  

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities. 

  • Deep understanding of P&L and revenue management.  

  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders to influence financial outcomes. 

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights. 

  • Strong track record in end-to-end financial reporting and performance commentary.
