The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Billing Coordinator to join our finance team in Sydney on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a key member of our national Billing team, you will be responsible for the coordination and processing of e-billing and other complex billing requests.
Key Responsibilities
Uploading and managing invoices via e-billing databases, including resolving e-billing upload delays and rejections
Administering e-billing timekeeper rate approvals and purchase orders
Managing and uploading e-billing client matter budgets and monthly accruals
Attend to new e-billing vendor set up
Maintain, track and report on e-billing uploads and issues
Attending to billing requests such as bill cancellations, write offs and time edits
Assisting Partners and Practice Administrators with day to day billing queries and complex billing requests
Managing and maintaining client billing guideline requirement information
Assemble and send invoices for centralised client dispatching
Complying with billing procedures and processes
Process internal fee credit allocations
Support Billing Team Leader with ad-hoc projects as required
Skills & Experience
At least 4 years' experience in:
A professional services environment (law firm experience will be highly advantageous)
Handling high volume transactions with great accuracy and diligence
A Practice Management System, ideally Aderant Expert (advantageous)
E-billing portals and LEDES import files (advantageous)
Strong analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work through high work volumes (e.g during month-end) whilst maintaining a high-level of accuracy and efficiency
Strong communication skills
A willingness to take on new tasks with flexibility and positivity
Intermediate MS Excel (desirable) and competent with other Microsoft Office programs
