An exciting 10-month maternity leave contract has come up to join Showpo as our Finance Manager! You’ll be stepping into a vibrant, dynamic team, with plenty of perks and a fun company culture.
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager who can confidently take ownership of our finance function throughout this period. If you're ready to bring your expertise to a collaborative and supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Day to day, you will
- Oversee the end-to-end operations of the accounting & finance function
- Work closely with the CFO, CEO, and Leadership Team-members to set the budget and strategy for the organisation as well as other ad-hoc projects
- Business partnering with all departments to review monthly results and support commercial decision making
- Provide financial planning and analysis
- Assist with budgeting on a line-of-business basis
- Overseeing the Payroll process
- Manage treasury operations including cashflow forecasting & management
- Preparation of annual financial statements and tax compliance including company tax returns, IAS and BAS statements
- Manage international tax compliance (EU, NZ, UK & US)
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders such as Banks and Payment Gateway Providers & managing external advisors & bookkeepers
Who are we looking for?
- CA/CPA level accounting qualifications
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
- Experience with International Tax Compliance
- Management and/or mentoring experience
- Experience with Accounting Consolidation software (Fathom, Syft)
