Finance Manager (FP&A) – Funds Management Business PerformanceWe’re looking for a commercially minded and collaborative Finance Manager to join our high-performing Funds Management Performance & Analytics team. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll partner with senior leaders to drive business performance, deliver insights, and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
You’ll be embedded in the business, working closely with Fidante, a group of boutique affiliates, and the broader Funds Management team. It’s a role that offers visibility, impact, and the opportunity to lead change in a supportive and inclusive environment.
We work flexibly from our Sydney CBD office, typically 3 days in-office and 2 days from home.
This is a role with real breadth—balancing business-as-usual reporting with forward-looking strategy and commercial partnering. You’ll lead the budgeting and rolling forecasting process across Funds Management and be involved in monthly management reporting.
You’ll be a go-to finance partner for Funds management, helping shape new business cases, challenge assumptions, and bring clarity to complexity—partnering closely with Fidante and the broader Funds Management team.
Leading forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes across Funds Management and affiliates.
Delivering high-quality analysis and strategic insights to senior stakeholders, including variance & trend analysis, scenario modelling, and performance commentary.
Driving automation and continuous improvement using platforms like Anaplan, Workiva, and Workday.
Enhance sales profitability analysis & platforms to inform growth strategies.
Assist with transactions and financial due diligence.
Partnering with Investor Relations and senior leaders to align insights and expectations.
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
You’re a CA/CPA-qualified (or equivalent) finance professional with a passion for performance, insight, and commercial impact. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy translating complexity into clarity.
5+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic business partnering roles.
Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting analysis that informs decision-making.
Experience with Excel, finance systems, and data tools.
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like Anaplan, Workiva, Workday, or Power BI (preferred).
A proactive mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities with calm and clarity.
Experience in funds management, financial services, or listed organisations is highly desirable but not essential.
