Join Iress as our Finance Manager – Treasury, based in Melbourne, and play a pivotal role in shaping how we manage global cash, funding strategies, and financial risk across our business.
This hands-on and strategic role sits at the heart of our finance function. You’ll work closely with senior leaders including the Deputy CFO and Group Financial Controller, delivering critical insights and solutions that directly impact business decisions. Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in
Leading daily and long-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
Managing global treasury operations, including cross-border payments and investments
Supporting capital management, debt funding and compliance activities
Enhancing financial risk management strategies aligned with company objectives
Preparing insightful reporting to guide executive-level decision-making
Partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders including banks and lenders
Maintaining accurate treasury records, controls and documentation
Driving process improvement across treasury systems and reporting tools
Supporting audits and ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal policies
What you will bring
7+ years’ experience in treasury, financial markets, or analytical finance roles
CPA, CA or CFA qualified with strong commercial acumen
Proven financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
Experience in managing treasury operations and risk with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to distil complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and banking platforms
Confident communicator with excellent time management and organisational skills
A strategic thinker who thrives on autonomy while being a collaborative team player
