We are looking for an experienced, highly organised, and motivated Finance Manager to support the Senior Finance Manager and manage the efficient running of our UK Opex team. You will be working in a fast-paced, ambitious team with a real focus on continuous improvement. The role will help to provide insight into business performance and assist stakeholders with decision making. - Managing the month end close for UK Opex, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Detailed review of nominal analysis files to ensure accuracy & compliance with accounting standards
- Management/coaching of a team of 3 Management Accountants
- Partner with various stakeholders to generate actionable insights & drive continuous process improvements while ensuring adherence to SOX compliance
- Responsibility for Balance sheet reconciliation/review
- Producing variance analysis
- Fulfilling monthly and quarterly internal reporting requirements
Experience & Skills you'll bring
- Highly numerate with strong analytical ability
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both financial and non-financial management
- Methodical and diligent with a willingness to work toward and manage tight deadlines.
- Have a can-do attitude and work well within a team
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance role
- Qualified in either ACCA/CIMA
- Strong excel skills
