You’ll play a critical role in month-end, statutory reporting and audit, while providing technical accounting expertise to a wide range of stakeholders.

Leading a team of experienced finance professionals, you’ll operate in a complex, fast‑paced environment where quality, rigour and continuous improvement really matter. This role offers strong visibility across finance and the broader business, and the opportunity to influence how financial control is delivered.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Own the integrity of the General Ledger and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards
  • Lead the delivery of month-end, management reporting and consolidated results
  • Manage quarterly, half-year and year-end statutory reporting, including external audit
  • Drive improvements to financial close and reporting processes
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing financial control team while partnering closely with FP&A, Treasury, Tax and Capex teams

About you

  • CA/CPA qualified with around 8+ years’ experience across Big 4 and commercial environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB/IFRS) and statutory reporting
  • Proven experience leading teams and developing people
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle and/or Blackline highly regarded)
  • A proactive, accountable leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders
