The Opportunity
Join RLA’s Finance Systems Control & Transformation Centre of Excellence and play a key role in shaping the future of finance. We’re looking for a qualified System Accountant with strong Oracle EPM expertise (FCCS, PBCS, TRCS) to enhance and maintain our financial systems, processes, and controls. This role bridges Finance & Actuarial teams with technical experts, supporting transformation initiatives and business-as-usual operations.
You’ll lead system enhancements, ensure data integrity, and collaborate across squads to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include documenting current states, developing future-state requirements, testing integrations, and supporting change management. A sound understanding of IFRS17 and experience in financial system implementations are essential.

How will you make an impact?
Implement and enhance Oracle EPM (FCCS, PBCS, TRCS, Narrative Reporting) capability in RLA
Ensure the integrity and timeliness of EPM data sets and financial reports
Work across Finance System Squads/SMTs in ensuring end to end ecosystem is complete and accurate.
Clear and concise documentation of current state in preparation for change
Development of future state user stories (requirements) using best practice, under guidance of Finance System Chapter Lead/COE Leads
Work with the Project Team, including our third-party vendors, in understanding how Oracle Fusion EPM capabilities will be used in our Future of Finance state
Unit test and triage financial system and data integration artefacts under guidance
Create work papers associated with any testing including remediation activities
Work with Change Management for new standard operating procedures, training and documentation as required
Identification of process inefficiencies and propose streamlined solutions to enhance accuracy and productivity.
Implementation of control and process improvements for accounting operations
About you

Experience in financial system implementation/upgrades is mandatory

Experience in a variety of testing efforts.
Problem solving - ability to assimilate and analyse complex information from disparate sources and provide sound, well-reasoned outputs
