As our Financial Accountant (Revenue & Operations), you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our financial engine is accurate, compliant, and scalable as we grow across Australia and internationally. What you’ll do
- Manage day-to-day accounting across multiple entities — including journals, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and monthly & annual financial closes
- Oversee billing and revenue operations, including Stripe workflows and enterprise billing arrangements
- Own payroll and statutory compliance across our Australian and international entities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and support consolidations across multiple entities
- Partner closely with our FP&A Lead on reporting, audit preparation, and board materials
- Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and systems as we scale
- Bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset to building foundational finance capability in a fast-growing startup
What we’re looking for
- 3–4 years’ experience in accounting or financial operations
- Experience with Stripe and/or enterprise billing (either is great — both is a plus)
- Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting, SaaS billing, revenue recognition, financial closes, and payroll
- Confident using Xero and Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail and a structured, analytical approach
- A start-up mindset: resourceful, proactive, and comfortable building new processes from scratch
- Someone who cares deeply about accuracy, clarity, and doing things the right way
