The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with costing functions, preparing analysis of financial and operating information, performing month-end accounting functions (journal entries, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations), and managing intercompany accounts.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Perform Fixed Asset / Tooling Accounting
- Labor Variance Analysis and reporting
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis to discover trends and patterns
- Sales invoicing and reconciliations
- Backup Accounting Staff as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minimum of five years accounting experience
- Must be experienced with computerized accounting systems and proficient in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written skills with a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information
- Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Work scheduled includes working a minimum of 45 hours per week.
