What you'll be doing.
- Prepare, analyze, and report on budgets and forecasts, with a focus on Freight and Warehouse cost drivers and variances.
- Maintain and enhance internal accounting controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct weekly and monthly variance analysis on supply chain costs; support month-end close.
- Develop and implement standardized, user-friendly reporting formats; ensure actionable insights reach key stakeholders.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial information to Supply Chain, Procurement, and other core business teams for day-to-day decision-making.
- Support the evaluation of business cases for investments and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Partner with business units to identify cost savings and validate Strategic Cost Advantage (SCA) project outcomes.
- Advocate for and influence operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and driving accountability.
- Support the Finance team in presenting financial results to the leadership team.
- Contribute to business finance activities and cross-functional projects as required.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
- CPA/CA qualification or equivalent.
- 3-4+ years finance/accounting experience, ideally within chartered, manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer retail sectors.
- Demonstrated numerical curiosity, accuracy, and analytical rigor with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong business acumen, presentation skills, and the ability to build effective relationships.
- Experience using business reporting tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Power BI.
- Proactive attitude with a growth mindset and a strong drive for continuous personal and professional development.
- Ability to interpret and align strategies to broader business objectives.
- Eagerness to be actively involved at various levels of the organization.
