We’re not looking for a traditional Financial Controller. We’re looking for someone smart enough to become one.

Expo Centric is a fast-growing exhibition and events company. We design and build high-end exhibition stands and run a growing e-commerce display business. Things move quickly here — and the finance function needs to keep up.

If you’re looking for a safe, repetitive accounting role… this isn’t it.

If you want to learn how a real business works and grow into a leadership role… keep reading.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work directly with the CEO on financial visibility and decision-making
  • Build and improve financial reporting (not just maintain it)
  • Understand how the business actually makes money (projects, margins, operations)
  • Support cashflow, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Clean up and streamline financial processes
  • Get exposure to all parts of the business — not stuck in a corner doing reconciliations

Who This Is For

  • 2–5 years experience in accounting, audit, or finance
  • Background in Big 4, mid-tier, or strong SME experience (not essential, but helpful)
  • You ask “why” more than most people
  • You’re quick to learn and not afraid of complexity
  • You want to step up, not stay comfortable

Who This Is NOT For

  • You need step-by-step instructions for everything
  • You only want to do what’s in your job description
  • You avoid messy or unclear situations
  • You’re looking for a slow, predictable role

What You’ll Get

  • Direct mentorship from the CEO
  • A fast track into a Financial Controller role
  • Real responsibility early (not years down the track)
  • Exposure to a growing, multi-layered business
  • A role where your thinking actually matters

How to Apply

Send your CV and a cover letter to answer this:

“Explain something complex you’ve learned recently and how you approached it.”

(No generic cover letters. We’re looking for how you think.)
