G’day, we’re Mosh & Moshy.

We’re an Australian-founded and owned digital health platform on a mission to help people achieve the best possible health outcomes through best-in-class health programs. We know traditional healthcare isn’t always meeting the needs of modern patients, and we reckon there’s a better, more holistic way. Our programs across hair loss, sexual health, skincare, mental health and weight management are easy, accessible and completely discreet.

More than a job

There’s nothing better than knowing the work you’re doing matters and makes a genuine difference. We’re pretty lucky that, at Mosh & Moshy, this is the norm rather than the exception. We're looking for a Financial Controller to be the operational backbone of our finance function. Reporting to the CFO, this newly created role is perfect for a first-time FC (or one with a few years under their belt) ready to bring their technical rigour to a fast-paced scale-up.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities include:

  • Own financial control and reporting across our AU, NZ and SE Asia entities
  • Run end-to-end month-end/year-end close and prepare AASB-compliant financial statements
  • Manage group consolidation, balance sheet integrity and audit-ready records
  • Oversee tax compliance across jurisdictions with external advisors
  • Own cash management, rolling forecasts and banking operations across APAC
  • Manage inter-company cash movements and monitor FX exposure
  • Build and maintain the Group's financial risk and internal controls framework
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and Board reporting (CFO presents, you build the detail)
  • Own and improve finance systems and processes as we scale
  • Manage and mentor the offshore bookkeeping team

Experience you’ll bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CA or CPA qualified, with 4+ years' post-qualification experience in a Professional Services firm, as Financial Controller or equivalent role
  • Proven experience either owning month-end close and statutory reporting end-to-end, or contributing materially to the process
  • Comfort preparing detailed financial schedules and analysis to support Board or investor reporting
  • People leadership experience, ideally managing remote/offshore team members
  • Strong Excel/systems skills and experience with cloud accounting platforms (e.g. Xero, NetSuite).

You'll stand out if you have:

  • Prior experience in a health-tech or other regulated scale-up environment.
  • Experience working in a VC- or PE-backed business.
  • Exposure to multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • A track record of building and improving finance processes in a growing business.

What’s on offer

We support a hybrid model, with our Sydney-based team spending three days (M,W,F) in the office, with flexibility to work from home. You’ll also enjoy:

  • Up to 100% off Mosh/y product discounts
  • Access to on-demand training and development
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Two additional days of annual leave each year
  • Purpose leave for mental health or learning and development
  • EAP and wellbeing programs
  • ClassPass discounts

Better, together

We value diversity of thought, background, and perspective. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. Come help us shape the future of healthcare at Mosh & Moshy!
