What you’ll do
We are looking for an experienced legal counsel with experience advising on anti-money laundering and proceeds of crime laws in the APAC region to join our team. In this role, you will be a counsel to Stripe’s Financial Crimes Compliance team, which is responsible for day-to-day implementation of Stripe’s enterprise-wide financial crime prevention efforts. This role will focus primarily on anti-money laundering and proceeds of crime legal and regulatory issues, in particular advice and counsel to promote compliance with regimes in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, India, Thailand, Malaysia, and other jurisdictions where Stripe may operate. This role will focus secondarily on trade controls (economic sanctions, import and export controls, and anti-boycott) legal and regulatory issues in those jurisdictions and other anti-financial crime laws, including aspects of anti-corruption. You will have the opportunity in this role to contribute more broadly to other regulatory matters as well.
Join us and you will work with a great team and have the opportunity to solve complicated problems in a fast-moving environment!
