The Opportunity

Fantastic opportunity to join the APAC Finance team as we continue to build a top-class FP&A team that provides analytical insights, implements changes, and actively drives our rapid top line growth and margin expansion.

You will support the Asia-Pacific FP&A Director and Sales leaders for the Digital Media B2B business, as well as support the consolidation and reporting of Asia Pacific results through transforming numbers into a narrative that clearly articulates financial performance!

The role will be located in Sydney reporting to the Director, FP&A, Asia-Pacific.

What you'll do:

  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and reliability

  • Interpret complex financial data, identify significant trends, and connect key metrics to overarching business objectives

  • Transform raw numbers into clear, compelling narratives that explain financial performance, highlight trends, and support strategic decision-making

  • Engage with users to understand their needs and gather feedback, ensuring dashboards are user-friendly and tailored to diverse requirements

  • Present complex financial information in a concise, visually engaging manner suitable for both financial and non-financial audiences

  • Utilise and continuously learn dashboarding software and tools, integrating data from various systems as needed

  • Conduct ongoing reviews of dashboards, implementing updates and improvements in response to user feedback and evolving business strategies

What you need to succeed

  • Multi National Organisation Experience desirable

  • Positive and “can do” attitude as well as sense of urgency to complete tasks is essential

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

  • Excellent data storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information

  • Clear, effective communication skills for engaging with users and explaining financial data

  • Technical proficiency in dashboard tools and software, with a willingness to learn new technologies

  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of dashboards

  • Proactive approach to gathering feedback and driving continuous improvement

  • A mindset focused on creating intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that promote understanding

  • Ability to work closely with sales teams with credibility, independence and integrity

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • A team player who can work closely with peers – across borders and cross cultures.

  • Strong understanding of Financial Systems and processes. Proficiency in MS Excel essential and PowerBI, TM1, Tableau, Anaplan experience would be a plus. 

  • Experience in SAAS business model and understanding of related sales analytics, or finance issues is desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field; Professional qualification (CA/CPA/MBA) desirable

  • Minimum 7 years of FP&A (or related) experience required
